It All Starts with Knowing Exactly Where the Problem Is

Where precision meets healing

We can help you.

As we help you address the root cause of your pain, we focus on identifying a moderate to severe three-dimensional shift in your spine from its natural position. Our starting point is the area we consider the keystone of your spine - the junction where your head and neck meet.

The upper cervical spine is less stable than the rest of the spine, but this is necessary to allow for head movement. However, this flexibility also creates a vulnerable link in the chain. When the head and neck shift, it causes your shoulders and hips to twist, pulling the entire spine out of alignment. These Structural Shifts can lead to muscle spasms, ligament deformation and compromised nerves that travel down the spinal cord. Essentially, a Structural Shift interferes with your nervous system - the communication pathway between your brain and body.

The primary condition we treat is known as the Atlas Displacement Complex, or atlas subluxation.

We believe in identifying the root cause. While conventional chiropractors often use a set of adjustment techniques that may address common back issues, we understand that each person and their condition is unique. Rather than applying a "one-size-fits-all" approach, we take the time to discover the true cause of your pain and treat it with precision.

To effectively assess each individual, we use advanced tools not typically found in most chiropractic offices, which allow us to pinpoint problems with accuracy:

  • 3D CBCT Imaging and Digital Structural Radiographs: These tools help us determine the exact location of your Structural Shift. With laser-aligned, digital x-ray analysis, we can accurately identify the nature of your condition. Seeing is knowing.

  • Digital Structural Symmetry Analysis: This analysis helps us understand how your body compensates for any Structural Shifts.
  • Functional Cervical Assessment: This evaluation shows how your neck is moving, including accessory movements, proprioception, and motor control.

Additionally, we measure:

  • Leg length discrepancy
  • Subjective outcome assessment surveys

These assessments provide valuable insights into how your central nervous system functions and its ability to regulate your body’s automatic processes.

Some of the same tools we use for the initial assessment are also used during follow-up visits to monitor progress as we work together toward better health.

At the end of the initial phase of correction, we perform a progress examination so you can see the improvements you’ve made and better understand the changes happening in your body.
